Question: ignition switch?

When I try to start my 93 LeBaron convertible, most times it starts without problems. Other times I have no voltage at all when turning the ignition switch (no interior lights, radio, etc). Sometimes the voltage just comes on suddenly with the switch on, and it may or may not start when that happens. Is this the ignition switch?

I would check the ground at the battery first. I would also have the battery tested. If none of these correct the problem, then I would check for a loose connection in the wiring harness that goes to the ign switch. If thats not it, it could be you have a faulty ign switch. Good luck.
