Question: How do I adjust the throttle valve on automatic transmissiom

Some times the tranny will shift into high and other times it does not shift and sometimes it will down shift from high to second. I replaced the filter and change the fluid but it did not help. Can anyone give me help with this? Thank you

I found out that the thermostat was bad and it was causing the transmission to shift at the wrong time. I replaced the thermostat and the transmission now shifts as it should. Who would of known the thermostat and engine temp would affect the shifting?
