Question: fast idle sante fe

I just purchased a new 2008 Santa Fe and when I start it, it seems to idle too fast. I don't have to give it any gas and when I let off of the brake it moves F or R pretty quickly. Does this seem normal. Mechanic at Hyundai dealer says there is no idle adjustment and if the engine warning light is not lit, then everything is as it should be. I've never had a car idle this fast.
