Question: engine sputters
97 lasabre
while driving the check engine light came on and the car started to sputter,then died. whats the problem?possibly fuel filter,bad valves,or spark plug and wires?

you probably lost an ignition module, 150 at any parts house buy coils too as they are the most likely cause of the module failing. 5.5 mm bolts through the coils hold it down 7mm bolt holds the connector to the front.
